INNOVARTS: Navigating the Future of Arts Management

This year's symposium, entitled INNOVARTS: Navigating the Future of Arts Management, will focus on the future - on the possibilities of innovation and development of the field, on deepening the competences of the upcoming generation of theatre professionals and on the inspirational sources that Czech theatre can look for in the context of today's Europe, with an emphasis on German-speaking countries.

Registration

BLOCKS

The programme contains three thematic blocks, which will include presentations by Czech and international guests and a panel discussion

ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE

Artificial Intelligence is a hot topic at the moment and it is clear why: as a revolutionary tool it confronts us with the future. We can already see that it will find a field of application in almost every field. How to use AI in artistic practice? Can technology replace human creativity?

INTERNATIONAL CO-PRODUCTIONS

When we talk about the future and development, we cannot forget international cooperation. A prime example of an international project is Ophelia's Got Talent by the Berlin Volksbuhne, a German-Austrian-Dutch-Swiss co-production. How can we take inspiration from these aspects here? How can we get involved in or initiate co-productions?

INDUSTRY PROGRAMME

The industry programme is not often encountered in the Czech theatre environment (in contrast to the film environment). However, it is developing in abundance abroad. What does it actually consist of and why is it important for the development of theatre? Do we lack this initiative in the Czech Republic and what can we learn from it?
